RESIDENTIAL SALES ASSOCIATE

SGCSC is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Residential Countertop Salesperson with expertise in laminate, solid surface, and quartz countertops. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our wide range of countertop products to residential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent customer service skills, and extensive knowledge of various countertop materials and installation processes.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Develop and maintain relationships with residential clients, builders, contractors, and designers to generate leads and promote countertop sales
  • Conduct consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget requirements for countertop solutions
  • Showcase and demonstrate the features and benefits of laminate, solid surface, and quartz countertops, providing expert advice and recommendations to clients
  • Prepare accurate quotes and proposals for countertop projects, ensuring pricing and terms are competitive and align with company policies
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate project planning, scheduling, and order fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery and installation of countertop products
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and installation techniques to maintain a competitive edge in the market
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry gatherings to promote company visibility and generate new sales opportunities

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in the residential countertop industry with expertise in laminate, solid surface, and quartz countertops; or a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related
  • Extensive knowledge of countertop materials, including their features, benefits, and installation processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and effectively communicate product information and recommendations
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for sales tracking and reporting
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
