History
Since 1891, St. Germain’s Cabinet, Inc. – Supreme Counters (SGC-SC) has built a reputation for quality craftsmanship, integrity, and dependable service. What began as a fabricator of leaded-glass church windows and mirrors has evolved into one of northern Minnesota’s premier manufacturers of architectural millwork, commercial casework, and custom countertops.
For more than 130 years, we have continually invested in our people, facilities, and technology to better serve our customers. Today, our 52,000-square-foot manufacturing facility features advanced CNC manufacturing, automated material handling, professional finishing capabilities, and in-house engineering, allowing us to efficiently produce projects of every size while maintaining exceptional quality.
In 2020, we expanded our footprint by acquiring Supreme Counters in Brainerd, Minnesota. This acquisition strengthened our presence throughout central Minnesota and enhanced our ability to serve customers across a broader geographic region.
In 2026, we expanded our capabilities again by acquiring the former Arrowhead Supply building in Duluth’s Craft District and establishing a dedicated stone fabrication facility. This investment added in-house fabrication capabilities for select quartz products, giving us greater control over quality, scheduling, and lead times while expanding the countertop solutions available to our commercial, dealer, and residential customers.
We continue to proudly offer Cambria® quartz through our longstanding relationship with Cambria, along with granite, quartzite, porcelain, and other specialty materials through trusted fabrication partners.
